The power of the Sun Goddess ignites the flame of life, which is the foundation of this world. She possesses a great deal of gold and can share it with you if you are lucky!
Sacred Cults of the Mayans
Dr. Rogers dedicated his entire life to archaeology and history. Above all, he was fascinated by the Maya civilization, which left behind a great legacy. The calendar, the Mexican pyramids, and especially the cults— the ancestors of modern Latin Americans believed in a variety of deities!
The ancient Maya particularly revered the Sun Goddess, who warmed this world with her heat. In every settlement, there was an altar watched over by a priest. The sanctuaries were made of pure gold. At the altar stood a statue of a beautiful woman whose head was adorned with a sun-shaped crown.
Onwards, that is, backwards, to the ancient times!
The Sun Goddess accepted human sacrifices and exquisite jewellery made from the purest gold. If the Mayans were to be transported to our time with all of their wealth, they would truly become the richest people, as there was an abundance of gold in every tribe!
Dr. Rogers was indeed well aware of this. The scholar did not intend to bring the Maya tribes into our days; instead, he decided to experience that distant era himself.
A Desire for Profit and Scientific Discoveries.
Only God knows how the archaeologist managed to obtain the blueprints for the time machine that Nazis were developing. Dr. Rogers refined it and assembled everything as the greatest minds of the Third Reich had instructed.
By pressing a button, Dr. Rogers opened a portal to the settlement of Mutli-Vikli, where the largest temples of the Sun Goddess were built. The cunning man planned to seize as much gold and precious jewels as possible, and then return, becoming one of the richest people on the planet. And, of course, he also hoped to make some kind of scientific discovery, but that would be just a side quest, if luck was on his side!
Hello, Maya!
Dr. Rogers stepped through to the other side and found himself in the ancient times. Looking around, he saw the temple of the Sun Goddess and headed there in search of an easy profit, pretending not to notice the Maya who looked at him as if he were a being from another world. Of course, every regular person in those distant times wore clothing made of colourful fabrics, leaves, and feathers, while this guy had thrown on a white lab coat, wore shoes on his feet, and walked forward with his head held high!
A Sacrifice for the Sun Goddess
Someone from the local people called the guards over, and the uninvited guest from another era was captured. Dr. Rogers was taken to the high priest. The servant of the Sun Goddess looked at the outsider who had come from another reality. The high priest decided to offer the “white demon” as a sacrifice to the Sun Goddess, ignoring the protests of the archaeologist, who, despite the language barrier, understood that things were taking a turn for the worse.
Insane Luck
The ritual began, and Dr. Rogers found himself in the spotlight. It could have ended badly if not for the Sun Goddess, who decided to descend to the mortal realm to see the screaming fool.
It turned out that the beautiful golden maiden understood the language of the victim, who pleaded for release and vowed never to disturb the Maya era with his presence again. The Sun Goddess commanded the scholar to be released, instructing him to return to his own time quickly to prevent any issues in the timeline.
The Return Home
Dr. Rogers shot through the jungle like a bullet, heading straight for the portal located just beyond the Maya settlement. He literally jumped back through, overjoyed at his good fortune.
From that moment on, the scholar vowed never to visit the historical period he had loved to study. In fact, Dr. Rogers completely gave up time travel altogether.
Time Machine for the Brave
Fortunately, we have a machine here that the archaeologist discarded. You can transport yourself right now to the time of the Maya, sneak your way to the Temple of the Sun Goddess, and grab some gold! Just be careful not to get caught by the locals!
