Stealing millions is easy! The key is to find a truck loaded with tons of money and take what’s yours… or someone else’s!

The Money Launderer

In 2653, money laundering became even harder: the latest security devices were integrated into banking systems, creating nearly impossible conditions for various kinds of scams. Of course, the crooks were extremely displeased with these innovations! Artificial intelligence was preventing them from making money by laundering criminal finances and was doing its job effectively.

However, there were still some who managed to outsmart the system, like banker Johnson. Thanks to his trusted associates, this man continued his shady operations despite the praised security system and the government order mandating its use.

The Set-Up

But one not-so-beautiful day, Johnson was betrayed. The operation failed, but the money was already in the documents sent to the Tax Authority. He had no choice but to transport the cash manually, meaning in a truck under the protection of some tough guys armed with big guns.

When There’s No Choice

After the cataclysm of 2502, civilization only remained in the cities. Behind high walls lived monsters, gangs ruled the land, and adventurers scurried everywhere, trying to find something interesting.

Gangs often lurked by the roads, hoping to seize valuable cargo, so security was of the utmost importance. Sending a truck from one city to another without an armed escort was like handing over money to criminals.

To be honest, security couldn’t guarantee safety in every situation, but Johnson had no choice. He had to deliver the money or end up in prison when it was revealed that half of the transactions at his bank were just a front for laundering crisp dollars. Well, basically, there was no choice.

And the Vultures Came…

On the appointed day, the truck with the cash set off on Highway 42. Three hours later, Johnson could forget about his problem — by that time, another bank would already have the cash and complete the transaction, which, of course, would be reflected in the documents. This way, the tax authorities wouldn’t have any reason to interfere. The guys in uniform would just have to bite their tongues and wait patiently for the banker to once again find himself in a tight spot.

The first hour of the journey went without incident. The security team relaxed a bit, but the guys lowered their guard too soon — about halfway into the trip, a gang appeared, eager to live well off someone else’s money. A fight broke out like the world had never seen! There were just too many bandits, as if they knew the truck was filled to the brim with cash and had specifically gathered all the most desperate thugs, hoping to cash in.

Take the Money Right Now!

The security knew their job well. Many of the bandits met their end in the wastelands, shot by skilled marksmen. However, despite this, Johnson’s guards were still overwhelmed and killed, outnumbered. Still, only a handful of bandits remained alive.

Now, the driver is squeezing everything he can out of the truck’s engine, trying to shake off the group of robbers who managed to survive. But they’ve already opened the truck bed and are ready to take the pile of cash…
