The Wild West has never known peace. Bands of outlaws roamed the land, seeking easy riches.
Lone wolves, too, grabbed every opportunity to make a quick buck—usually through less-than-legal means.
Crime’s Worst Nightmare
As crime surged, sheriffs needed deputies—and eventually, bounty hunters. These skilled gunslingers helped the lawmen rid the world of an overwhelming number of outlaws.
While most bounty hunters were men, there were rare exceptions, like Lindsay. This sharp shooter could handle her revolvers as skillfully as any seasoned cowboy and was just as adept on horseback.
A Gunslinger in a Dress
Lindsay sent dozens of criminals to their graves. Every time she pulled the trigger, she felt a sense of duty fulfilled. And when the fresh corpse hit the ground, she could already hear the jingle of coins in her mind, tallying the sheriff’s bounty.
Sometimes, she brought criminals in alive. Such “gifts to justice” fetched far higher rewards than corpses. What Lindsay craved most was to capture the entire Black Mamba Gang.
Tracking the Black Mamba
No one could explain how a crazed woman came to lead an entire gang of hardened outlaws. But they obeyed her every command, no matter how bizarre. For instance, in Lindsay’s hometown, the gang set fire to a saloon—for reasons only the Black Mamba herself knew.
Lindsay picked up their trail and pursued them to a small, desolate town that likely didn’t even have a sheriff. The locals probably had no idea that a notorious gang had come to their doorstep.
Drunken Revelry
The Black Mamba Gang holed up in a saloon. During the day, they wandered off to who knows where, only to return in the evening.
After getting drunk, the gang would stumble off to bed—except for the Black Mamba and her second-in-command, who always stayed sharp to avoid being caught off guard.
A Clever Plan
Lindsay approached the saloonkeeper during the day, handing him a pouch of gold and promising another if he followed her instructions. His task was simple: spike the gang’s drinks with a sleeping potion.
After all, it would be foolish to engage in a shootout with ten outlaws, no matter how skilled a gunslinger Lindsay was.
Into the Inferno
That evening, the gang returned to the saloon, drank heavily, and retired to their rooms to sleep it off. Only the Black Mamba and her lieutenant stayed awake, whispering to each other.
Lindsay burst through the saloon doors, guns blazing. Two shots, two bodies. She then ordered the saloonkeeper to clear out everyone except the gang members. The barkeep quickly complied—there were hardly any other guests, anyway.
Once the room was empty (save for the slumbering outlaws), Lindsay set the saloon ablaze. The saloonkeeper began to protest but fell silent as Lindsay handed him the second pouch of gold—enough to start anew in another town.
Onward to Adventure!
With the Black Mamba Gang defeated, Lindsay was ready for her next adventure. The Wild West was full of outlaws, and each gang meant another thrilling chase—and more gold to earn.
